Do you ignore PM's and why?

I don't ignore PM's. I feel that if someone takes the time to send you a message,the least you can do is respond.I have on the other hand been ignored,but I don't lose sleep over it.

I've had a few of my PMs ignored, but I try to answer the ones sent to me, unless it's someone who's just being nasty and mean.

Sometimes I don't see them right away and I don't always get around to responding immediately, but I don't think I've ever not replied on purpose to a well-intentioned PM.

I don't get many, but all the ones I get I answer.... If they took time to PM me, I can at least reply back. Only takes a few minutes most of the time. If it's a long reply and I don't have time, I at least let them know I'll be back to them later with it. I also like talking with people.... so I enjoy PMs.

So I don't ignore them on purpose but sometimes I miss them or forget to answer them.

I think that many PMs must not make it through or there is a problem with the notification system because it seems like almost no one ignores them but everyone has a few that are ignored.

I also respond to all PMs bit have had a couple ignored.

I would never ignore a PM. Like a lot of other people on here, I believe that if someone has taken the time to write to me, they deserve my attention.

I have had some PMs ignored / not replied to ... but alas, we are all busy!

I always answer PMs. Sometimes, I'll pass the buck if someone is asking for advice and I don't have the ability to answer, I'll point them in the right direction ...to another member...

I've only had to block one person who was being nasty & mean. I think that's pretty good.

Also, I know one member who doesn't have the ability to answer PMs from the device he has with him during the day. I'm techno challenged, it's all magic to me, but I think lots of folks are on small hand held devices and intend on responding when they are on their normal computer and might be delayed or forget.
