What kind of puppy is this??

This puppy is at the local rescue group and I was wondering if it looked like a GSD, though I know the picture isn't great and there is no guarantee .... I am always on the lookout of a good gsd rescue puppy

Myself I can't really tell because it is so young, but it sure is cute.

Looks like she could be mixed with GSD. That could certainly change though as she gets older.

other than being black and tan- I dont see GSD.

My lab/shep mix looked like this as a pup.. Maybe slightly less hair..

Any idea on age? Looks very much like a young GSD pup, so if the pup is young (4-5 weeks) I'd say it's likely to be GSD. If it's older than 6 weeks at the most, then it's mixed with something else.

Ear placement, shape of the head, eyes and snout length appear to strongly resemble my Rottweilers as pups.

Absolutely looks just like a GSD pup if it's young in that pic. When you ask about age, ask how old the dog was in that pic and then ask current age.
