I'm thinking about teaching Balen all his commands in German just for the fun of saying that he is Bilingual (after I figure out all the translations
) but that got me wondering, how many languages can a dog be trained in? Does *your* dog know 2 or more languages?

I'm lucky enough I got them to understand English...even that is questionable sometimes
Just kidding. I couldn't do it, I would completely mix the two languages up...as it is when I call one of the dogs I go through quite a few names sometimes before I get the right one.

Frag knows english, german, and some spanish.
I frequently show kids that he's "trained" to respond to silly words like soap, bubbles, banana, etc. by using hand commands and saying whatever fun word pops into my head. They get a kick out of that.

English, French and working in some German. One of my friends occasionally talks to her in Flemish but all that gets is some serious head tilts.
