The only things I would be worried about also is facing the dog house so the wind isn't coming in the door (or that there's room for him to lay away from the door) and that his water doesn't freeze over. I've never kept a dog outside, but I know there are many that do. Especially if he's used to being outside, it wouldn't be as huge of a shock to his body. Do you have a garage that you could put a run inside of? That's the only other thing I can think of.

i recall GSDs working at 20000 feet in Hamalayas as rescue dogs in freezing cold n they stayed there for approx 2 months. i have a place where i can keep him inside (He does not like to be inside actually) A dog house with a ventilator with insulation and thick layer of straws underneath is something i am working on for now
Thanx |
