She's cute, and yes she looks full blooded. As I'm sure you know though (a disclaimer), pups can appear purebred and not be, and vice versa for that matter.

Either way I still love her and she in not papered but I am okay with that. I love the breed and my husband was dead set on getting a shepherd, but all the papered shepherd were well out of our price range, but I found her on Craigslist and she was affordable and we aren't going to breed or show, just wanted a good family dog. I am so happy we found her! Just wanted others opinions on whether or not she looked full GS Thank u!

Sounds like she will make a great pet. Have fun with her and check out the training/socialization areas on the forum for lots of tips on getting her social with other people and well behaved. They grow faster physically than mentally, so it's best to keep on top of training from a young age!

how did the seller happen to have this very nice looking little gsd pup? were they the breeder - did you see the mother and sire? It seems strange that they are vague. Usually you have great claims that the dog is purebred , even if it is frankly not , or questionable.
I hope the dog wasn't stolen for resale.

carmspack...good point...this puppy is at the age where she'd have been sold (6-8 weeks) and either returned or perhaps stolen.

How was the seller "vague", did you see mom and dad or at least mom?

looks pure bread to me. doesn't matter if the seller was vague at this point. just enjoy your new pup. also, make sure you get to the vet for shots ect...

That puppy does not look 6 wks old...I would have estimated 9 - 10 wks personally. Maybe vague because they had a no sell contract with the breeder and didn't want to return the pup, not all breeders refund even when returned at a young age and they may have been trying to recoup money.

cute little Shepherd puppy. what's your plans
for your dog? if you want on those Shepherds
with titled parents and a lot of initials after their name
do what we did. every week put money in a coffe can
untill we had enough.

to my eye the dog looks between 3 and 4 months , and well cared for , so why the need to be vague -- check the dog for tattoos or micro chip . Did you get the dog from the "breeder" ?
