Stella comes into my office at 5 each day with the expression of...well...it's 5pm...time to get out of the office and make me some dinner woman!

I never knew until yesterday that me grabbing a hat was a sign that we were going outside! Poor girl...I was just going to work.

Mine aren't so bad when I leave, but if I come home and don't take my boots off right away Kya will not leave the door in case I try to leave again. If I come home and take my boots off and put on comfy clothes she will lay down and relax.

Now if I even MOVE a leash and they hear it, then I'm in trouble.

I can open the refrigerator while they are outside playing and pull out some cheese and they come running to the door (closed door!).

For me it's my coat, but for a while it was my jeans....apparently Sasha figured out that me getting out of my sweat pants is a rare occasions. That was embarrassing; I started actually getting dressed more often.

If you put on "outdoor" clothes, your fine.
If you put socks on, you might be going out.
If you put your shoes on, it MUST mean you are going out, so the dogs are on full alert.
If you even get CLOSE to the area with the leashes, it MUST mean that the dogs are coming with you, so the dogs follow you around.
If you even MOVE the leashes, the dogs are sitting at the front door.

^That's how it goes in our house.

LOL - you aren't the only one! My girl perks up the minute she sees me putting jeans and a jacket on. She zooms to the door and gives me the "Where we goin?" look. She flops down and relaxes when I have sweatpants on, which unfortunately is far more often than it should be. haha
