Pet lodging/hotel recommendations?

My husband and I are planning a 2-3 week trip to Europe. We were considering taking our 8 month pup with us but we don't feel comfortable having her endure the 8 hour flight from Toronto. Since we don't have anyone to look after her we were considering a pet hotel... or whatever fancy name they are calling it these days lol. I found 3 online that 'seem' nice: The Royal Pets Hotels and Spa in Barrie, Canine Country Kennels in Barrie and Harry and Rupert's Hotel for Dogsin Tottenham. We will be visiting these places to take a look for ourselves of course but does anyone recommend any others or can share any experiences?
