I don't know much about the different kinds of sheperds mine is a resuce and she looks all shepherd but except for a couple of spots that are course she has soft fur Rosie is two years old,
I love her anyways, no matter what she is but just wondering if anyone else has a gsd with soft hair.

I do - but to be honest...even though she's classified as a GSD under her AKC Purebreed Alternative Listing, she was labeled as GSD/Siberian Husky at the shelter...and that could easily be the reason her fur is so soft. Like, it's REALLY soft. That's usually the first remark I get about her when strangers see her and pet her, after the 'she looks like a wolf' comment.
