Default Nose changing colour

Not sure if this is normal or not.....but within the last month Hawkeye's nose has changed colour........ right up the middle his nose is now brown instead of black the rest of his nose is black....

Is it normal and why would it be changing?????

Could he possibly have a white gsd in his linage, and maybe he's getting snow nose? Idk if that can happen, but the whites' noses change color during the winter months. Maybe his does too

ITs called snow nose. My dogs always seem to get it, the stripe up the middle. Can be alergies to the medal in the dog dish, but mine always get it in the winter when the snow is on the ground, goes away in summer.

Try changing to a different material dog dish. Might help and can't hurt.

Mine gets it every winter. It's called snow nose. Goes right back to normal in the spring.

Thanks everyone ---- never heard of a snow nose.

He's fed in a stainless steel dish, he's been using it since I brought him home at 8 weeks old.

I didn't know this is common in other breeds besides the golden retriever...my golden's nose went from jet black to pink and never went back I hope my german shepherds stays black...I'll still love her with a pink nose, but black fits her face better
