Default Please help

Does anyone know where I could items donated or help paying for stuff for this GSD I rescued? I rescued this 2 year old male GSD from getting uselessly euthenized yesterday, I was so caught up in rescuing him before they put him down that I didn't realize that I have nothing for him and no funds to get anything. I have the basic basics such as food and water since I already had a GSD at hom but I still need a kennel or crate for him, a non choke collar(he came with a choke collar), leash and don't get me started on neutering and shots needed, etc...
Please does anyone know of an organization to help? ( **** Removed by MOD - Soliciatations of any kind against board rules. ****

Have you tried contacting a local GSD rescue to see if they have room to take him?

Good advice.
If you can't afford to neuter, while I commend you for saving his life, you probably should leave it to a group who can afford those things.
Leashes and collars can be bought at Walmart for under $5.00 per item.

Craigslist, Ebay and garage sales.

I bought a huge crate for $35 or $40 from a garage sale.

Maybe you can apply for free spaying/neutering from your local animal control? We have that program where I live. I am sure there are also low cost clinics around you.

Uh, I don't think him having his balls is worse than him dying. There was no group available to take him in. I was his last hope.

While it sounds like you had good intentions, you also stated you can't afford this extra dog. As was mentioned up-thread, you can pick up a collar and leash for under $12. Call the rescues in the area, explain your situation, and hopefully room will open up for him quickly.

sometimes a veterinary practice has items that others donate, perhaps they can help. And maybe they can barter for shots and other nec. treatments. Offer to work one day a week or now and then. I work at a hosp. in Pa. and the owner/dr. has taken many things in trade. uh, by things, i mean car detailing, painting, yard work, kennel help..lol
