I posted a few weeks ago about my 1yr old GSD who was extremely skittish. She is doing much better now, and is has even started trying to play with other dogs. She isn't sure how to play, but she is trying. I had a vet appointment a few weeks back, but got into a car accident the day before so I had to cancel. She is going tomorrow to get her vaccines and to check for positive pregnancy. At this late in the game, there is nothing I can do if she is pregnant. She would be due the 1st of February. She isn't showing but her nipples are getting larger. Do they tend to start showing late, or could she just be carrying one pup?

Why would she be pregnant/did you not supervise her during her heat? She may be going through a false pregnancy...I hope! If she is pregnant, I would consult your vet on the risk of vaccination. And get with a good rescue to mentor you/place the pups.

I got her a month ago. So the lady who owned her before (terrible owner, but that's another story) didn't supervise her when she let her out to potty. The lady has mother, father and brother, and brother is neutered. Father is not. So instead of letting her out to potty in front, her dumb a** let her out back and dad got a hold of her (literally). I don't know if she separated them before he finished or not, but she was sure that Jada is pregnant. She wants me to give her the puppies once they are weaned. I told her I would, just to get her to give me Jada, but I have no intention of doing that. Jada feels firmer around her lower abdomen, but she's not drooping like you would normally see this late into the pregnancy (if that makes sense). I'll find out for sure if she's pregnant tomorrow, but the vet insists that an Xray wouldn't tell me how many until about 55 days into the pregnancy.

I hope she is not pregant. Those poir puppies, father daughter will make bad genetics, but if she is i hope the best for you and the pups. Im glad she is in a better home, and glad you are safe from that wreck. Will you be spaying her when she is done with the possible litter?

Some vets will spay a pregnant bitch - especially if the bitch is at risk. She is so young. That is itself is a risk. It is really a shame. If this does result in puppies.....PLEASE make sure the previous owner does not get her hands on them.

A pregnant spay can be a risk but it would outweigh the risk of having puppies.
Ask about a pregnant spay (spay/abort) for her. They'll want to do an IV which is a good idea, so go for that. If you need help w/finances for that our rescue may be able to help out depending on the cost.
