Default Hot or Warm Food for GSD

Instead of feeding dried dog food or canned food, I wonder if it is okay to feed GSD with hot or warm food (home-made) if the weather is cold. Thanks

Of course! Obviously not too hot. I make a recipe in a pressure cooker in the winter. It's a whole chicken, sweet potatoes, either spinach or kale or similar, garlic, sometimes a little oatmeal, and water. Really you can add almost anything. Let it cook until the bones can be crushed with a spoon.

It won't cause GSD to have diarrhea if he eats warm food. Right?

I don't see why warm food would cause diarrhea, but changing his food quickly might. My dog is used to eating lots of different food so his stomach is pretty solid and we can feed homecooked one day, raw another, kibble yet another, etc. But if your dog gets the same food everyday, I would slowly change over or keep mixing with the kibble so his stomach doesn't get upset.

Raw or uncooked meat should be no since GSD might get bacteria/germ?

Raw meat is perfectly fine! There is a whole diet based on raw meat/bones and is probably the healthiest way to feed your dog. Look here:

I toss whole raw game hens to my GSD now and again and he is no worse for the wear. I slowly weaned him from a purely kibble diet to a variety of foods. It makes my life easier and is way healthier for him. If I have steak for dinner, so does he. Same goes for chicken and pork, he gets a whole litany of dark green veggies too. Fresh food is always better than canned or processed.
