Default Dog Paintings

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone knew anyone that did paintings of dogs. I'd LOVE to get individual paintings of my dogs. I've seen a couple advertisements for websites that you can upload a picture of your dog and they will paint a picture of them. I was just wondering if anyone knew of anyone else. Plus, it would be easier to talk to an individual person on what I would want versus a large company. Thanks!

I just ordered one from this woman:
Commissioned Pet Portrait Paintings & Original Art by sharonlamb

This is the painting that drew me to her:
9 x 12 Life Like Commissioned Pet Portriat Painting by sharonlamb

She seems to do a lot of GSDs and I love her paintings! They are also the most reasonably priced I've seen. I'll post a photo when I get it.

There are also several other artists on Etsy that have nice prices.

What kind of paintings? I do oils and watercolors, as well as pastel and pencil, but do not do acrylic paintings. I don't have any listings up right now on my etsy shop (pawprintzartwork), but hopefully soon I'll stop being lazy and put some up, LOL.

A friend of mine does awesome work with acrylics if that's what you're looking for: Critterdoodle Art - Home

I don't really have a preference of what type of paint! Is one better then the other? I'll have to check out your friends website and put some of yours up too!!

<-----My avatar is a custom. Kinda pointless to mention that as I forgot who did it. But I like to pimp it out because it's cool.

Acrylic is probably going to be the least expensive. It is water based, so I believe it can be framed behind glass.

Watercolors take a bit more work to be realistic, but if an artist knows what they're doing, it can look really, really good (I'm doing an age progression portrait for GSDGunner right now... thinking of doing watercolor, and I'll post when I'm done).

Oils take the most time/effort and are the most expensive. They cannot be framed behind glass because they "sweat."
