Teen Mom Kills Home Intruder | Video - ABC News

Watch the video.
She's got a GSD, but when it came down to the wire it was her and her .12 gauge that defended herself and her son.

I think it's pure fantasy to think some of our dogs will act like the ones we see in movies especially with the type of GSD's you see these days.

If you want real protection, get a real trained protection dog or a gun like this (smart) woman did.

$60,000 trained protection GSD, or a gun that most normal people can afford and learn to shoot? I vote gun.

Saw that clip on the news this morning. Along with the mom prepared to do what it took to protect her baby, the 911 operator telling her to do what she had to, to protect the baby and herself.

Not sure if mine would protect me but anyone breaking in here with multiple GSD's... it's fair game. I wouldn't dare to walk into another multiple dog home without being invited in, first.

Brava for her and her calm nerves of steel. This young woman has gone through a lot, and my money is on her that she will continue to go through life getting through every challenge that comes her way.

PS: the things she went through in her life already... I feel for that girl. Not only losing her husband on CHRISTMAS DAY but having to shoot an intruder on NEW YEARS EVE... I am not sure if I could ever celebrate each of those days.

That is a strong woman, right there and I hope that she soon finds a different, better place to live. That girl shouldn't have to live in a trailer like that.
