Default Play-Train-Play!

Working with Savvy on some positions, stays, tricks and impulse control while playing with the flirt pole.

Love it!! Fun to watch I love to watch your timing with the rewards...

(my trainer frowns on squeaky toys in training though.... )

Thanks!

Savvy desqueaked this toy at some point during the sessions on the video LOL What is the reasoning for no squeaky toys?

That poor abused dog. No one to play with and so neglected.

I really like the jump-catch-reward. Tho, I think trying that with Banjo might result in a hernia or shattered ribs...he's a mite bit bigger than Savvy. Savvy has a nice burst accel when the prey seems in reach too, love watching dogs work.

Great video! Looks like you both are having so much fun!
I would love to start using a flirtpole, where can I get one? Or if you made yours, how did you do it?

Thanks! We do have a good time.

My flirt pole is a long horse lunge whip, maybe 6' or so? I think it only cost me around $10. It has a loop on the end that I use to secure the toy. My dogs all love it!
