If she loves other dogs, I would probably do as you say,,check it out, take her with you, go with your gut.
Mine on the other hand, wouldn't do well at daycare  She is not real interested in other dogs, but if one comes up in her face and starts getting a little pushy, well it wouldn't end well I'm sure.. IF mine loved other dogs, I would do as your planning and check it out
