Default Would a GSD act like this?

I have 2 friends with pups, one is a 6 month old chocolate lab, she has been through obedience training. She does listen to some degree, but when on a leash and sees someone, she's jumping and pulling like crazy.
2nd is a 5 month old golden retriever with no training. He acts the same.
I'm wondering if a GSD could even act like this, I've never seen one. We of course are working with Dax, who is 2 months today. So I assume he won't be like that. I'm wondering if it is a breed thing?

well knowing quite a few with labs and goldens, they are just to 'dang' happy for me

I'm sure a GSD with little to no training could behave this way as well, depends on the dog, the training, and being consistent

just because an owner takes their dog to basic obedience doesn't make the dog obedient. 6 months old is still a puppy but should listen to some degree....if it's crazy and out of control jumping against the leash she's not being a very good leader....what does she do to solve this? or what does she do to in the situation to attempt to make it better?
any dog with no training especially at 5 months would act like that.

my puppy at 3.5 months will do this...or i say...he would if i LET him. we are working on heeling and if i take treats with me we divert the attention to the treats so he can have a reward while looking at and being in close proximity to other dogs.

6months and 5 months dogs are still new to the world, its up to us to show them how to act in situations and that not everything and every dog is scary

Any dog, any breed can act any way. It all comes down to the training/obedience. I have seen very well behaved, well mannered GSD's (such as my own! lol) and some very ill-mannered, dumb as a stick GSD's. It all depends on the time you spend working with them IMO.

ask me what I haven't seen a GSD act like. I'm sure there are some things that I haven't seen, and they do never cease to amaze me. But seriously, they can act like anything. Being rambunctious and untrained as a puppy should be expected for almost any breed, especially a gsd.
