Default Dog + Passengeer

Tell me if this is even possible and if it is how many of you do it? Also How often do you do it. Can you have a passenger in the backseat with your GSD?
I was thinking maybe. Maybe after it has at least met the person a couple times.

I don't understand why would there be any problem with having a passenger in the back seat with your dog? Maybe they don't like all the fur?

this question confuses me. do you mean if your picking up a hitch hiker? my answer to that would be no way, I dont let weird people that I don't know in my car period. if it's someone that I know then they can sit in the back with him as long as they don't mind that hair or possibly getting smelled/kissed to death.

Yeah I have people in the backseat all the time, as long as they don't mind the hair and potential face-licking.

No, not a hitchhiker! I would never let one in the same car as my dog.
I was talking about someone I know.

When I had my Cavalier people used to sit in the backseat all the time with my dog, he never minded the company.

I guess it depends on the dog?

I have a car seat and my 5 month old in the backseat with the dog. We've tried him up front with me in the back, but he hates the front even with his seat belt on. We are looking to buy a Town and Country, just waiting (buying used) for the spring excitement to wear off on everybody.

The dogs wouldn't mind but the passenger might think twice. They'd have to sit in the middle, both dogs want a window seat.

My dogs are crated. Who I have in the people seats is my business. l have never considered someone sitting in the back seat with my dog. I think I would have them drive and I would sit with my dog if need be.

Yeah, as long as your dog knows, accepts and doesn't mind the person that would be riding in the backseat - you know...if they're friendly with each other.

Xander has ridden in the backseat with my daughter in her car seat and, for the most part, he just relaxes and lays down but there is the occasional licking and laughing
