Well, without knowing your dog, I dunno. Everyone's dogs are individuals and react differently to different things. My dog would gladly share the back seat with people he knows, and probably with strangers if the proper introductions were made. Now, if a complete stranger just walked up without introduction and jumped in the back seat with Kain, then I feel fairly confident in saying that Kain would have serious issues with that and it would not be pretty.

my dog has to know them in order for him to let them sit in the back, I'm sure, I've never had this happen before, but if it did if it was some weird random person he wouldn't let them sit in the back or anywhere for that matter. I have no idea how your dog will react since I don't know your dog, but I know how mine will react. the only one who will know how your dog will react is you

My mother-in-law rode 9 hours in the back seat with Rocky once.

I'm not a van fan but i love my 2005 town and country and so do the kids and the dogs. You're gonna like yours when you get it i'm sure! Asfor the OPs question, honestly, if they're allowed in my house and in my car the dogs are fine. People who are offended by the fur and possible doggie kisses A) ride in their own vehicle and B) Stay out of places my dogs have been and C)Dont generally stick around to be friends. and if my dogs dont approve of someone anyway, i probably wont either.

I do not drive and take a cab if I have an appointment or need to go somewhere that is too far to walk - Stark goes with me, in the strangers cab. He sits nicely with me in the backseat.
He also travels in my friends cars, my parents car, uncles's van who he shares a backseat with my cousin who is in a wheelcahir (van has a restriant system). Is that what you mean?
