I do not understand..

I do not understand why people get a dog when they are not even sure if they can keep them in their current housing...

Two weeks ago I recieved a phone call from a friend of mine who works at an animal hospital, she told me that a man had brought in an approx. 10 weeks old puppy to be put to sleep because the landlord found out about the dog and wanted them to get rid of it.

She called me to check and see of I could foster the little thing while she found a new home for it. Of course I could not deny her this so I took the little munchkin only to call her back the very next day telling her that I'd be keeping it

She is a Border Collie mix, quite possibly mixed with an Icelandic sheepdog or even a Husky.
Was housetrained when I got her, is very calm and loving. She is so wonderful that I can not imagine why anyone would take her straight to the vet to be put to sleep without even trying to find her a new home... so sad and unfair to the animal.

But luckily she is safe now the little darling

beautiful dog,, a family i new got a jack russell puppy and two weeks later got rid of him! because he chewed things :/

Awwww she is so cute! Thank goodness her guardian angel (you) was there to help her out. I can not imagine taking any pup to be put down unless they were real sick. I am sorry but some people are idiots!!!

Thanks for taking her in!! It's scary how indifferent people can be. I was talking to a worker in a shelter once and he told me that their busiest time is during the holidays. Every week people bring in a large number of dogs. People get rid of them because they don't want them to be a nuiscance during the holidays. Horrible!

She is such a darling and I love her to pieces.

Yes she does have a name, Flækja .. its icelandic for tangle because she keeps getting tangled up in her lead when we go for walkies

She's lucky that guy brought her to a clinic where the staff was willing and able to help!
