Whats d difference between long haired and short haired GSD?

More grooming, to keep the long coat from snarling up and matting.

What specifically would you like to know, other than the obvious difference in coat length? Personality? Drive? Health?

The length of the coat does not affect any of that.

Grooming time? Yes...I don't have a LC GSD but did have a collie...it has to be about the same.

Vacuum cleaner life? you would have to ask someone with a LC.

Long Hairs....

...the number of people who say, " Is that a German Shepherd?"

...the number of times after grooming you have that one little hair that is floating around your face and you just can't seem to find it....

.....the number of times you have to change out your vaccuum cleaner bag...

....the number of times you hand your guest an ice cold beer and hope he/she doesn't see that long dog hair hanging from the side of the bottle...

....the number of times you just can't help yourself from running your hand along their backs cuz it's soooo soft and feels sooo good....

....the number of times a complete stranger comes up to you and tells you how beautiful your dog is, and can they puuhhhllleeeezzzze pet it....

Oh, I can just go on and on. I sorta like my long hair, can you tell?
