Anyone in a dog club (training, conformation, flyball, anything) and having to deal with individuals in the group who have less than stellar integrity? How do you deal with these folks?

The good news is you don't have to deal with folks like that. The trainer / club president should.
I have a lady in our OB class who lets her dog run amuck on the end of it's leash. She is a nice lady, and I'm really glad she decided she needed help with her large dog - but it distracts me and my dog. I just make sure I don't end up next to her during exercises.

We had a lady in our beginner class that acted ok, but who wears a fake leopard print jacket and tall leather boots (also probably fake) to Obedience class? Was too funny though, we were walking our dogs in a heel around the room and Bear grabbed the jacket off the bench and wanted to play tug! I was so embarrassed, and said I was sorry, but she said he didn't hurt it and thought it was funny too.

The trainer I take classes from doesn't put up with any nonsense, there are quite a few highly aggressive rescues in the class, muzzles and all, so she really lays down the expectations. By week 3 the class was doing pass by exercises and the dogs had no muzzles. If you are not controlling your dog, you will be excused from class. Same thing for chatting or showing up late, but the results are amazing, and I've never seen so much improvement week to week from handler/dog combos ever, very dedicated owners.

You should talk to your TD, they'll know what to do.

Actually, it is the behavior of certain club members (including officers and BOD members) that is the issue. Esp. a mother-daughter duo whose behavior has prompted many, many complaints but for which there has been no discipline. Petty, mean-spirited, jealous, and self-serving. I've stopped attending most Club functions because the few bad apples in the group have destroyed the enjoyment.
