Kongs does Josie no justice now. She has those busy buddy Kong. I'll put her kibble and some biscuits in there she'll get it out in less than 5 minutes. Her regular Kong she can get stuff out in 30 seconds unless i freeze it with mashed bananas with yogurt. I don't like giving her too much sugary foods.
Any ideas what i can put in her kongs especially busy buddy one? where she really has to work at it?. |

Maybe frozen kibble mixed with peanut butter... like concrete mixed with rocks.

A friend just shared with me the idea of Peanut Butter mixed with Kefir (it's kind of like yogurt). She makes he own Kefir, but I get it at Fred Meyer. I am going to give it a try today

canned dog food and freeze it ~ works wonderfully! One can fills multiple kongs.
wet dry food and load up, seal with pb or cream cheese and freeze. try Squirrel Dude by Premier, they have "fingers" at the base, called "treat meters", which let food out gradually. |

I make a mixture of:
2 tablespoons of plain yogurt 1 tablespoon of pumpkin 1 tablespoon of peanut butter Mix all the ingredients together, freeze overnight and it is good to go. Stark LOVES it. I also put cheese in there, plain frozen peanut butter (not so much a hit in my house), piece of cooked chicken or hotdog.

You put the conned dog food in the Squirrel feller and then freeze it? Same thing with the wet "dry kibble"? How long do you figure this will keep your dogs occupied?
