I think it's a an issue of anthropomorphism. People see that and it reminds them of a pesty younger sibling or a young kids trying to wake up a sleeping parent. They forget that a dog does not think like they do...

I guess maybe my dogs are different than some. I wouldn't allow it simply because if the dog pestering didn't recognize the warnings the white dog gave they would have bitten the pestering dog. Where the white dog simply walked away eventually.
I remember when Rosko was about 8 months old I stopped by the house of the guy who works for me. He has this little Husky dog about the same age who came out and kept getting in Rosko's face acting All stupid and pestering. I told the guy to calm down his dog let them get used to each other maybe then let her off leash. He just said that's how she is. So I was getting ready to put Rosko in the truck when she came rushing back over and he pinned her down and was full on showing teeth gonna chew her up. He was on leash so I just said get in the truck. But the guy was like you need to do something with your dog. What the heck. So that kind of stuff may annoy me more simply cause I had to deal with a dumb dog owner. Looking back I should have just put him in the truck immediately. But I figured he would leash his dog.

I admit that was somewhat my method of interpreting the video.....I know it's different between a dog's ears many times....but provoking and soliciting behavior as shown in the video might share the same irritating sensation regardless of species.......I might allow it if it never led to any escalation.....but even then...I might not....I'm kind of golden rule person and would extend that mentality toward a dog's behavior at times.
