Gypsy is my husband's white female GSD who will be turning a year old this month. She has always been a bit odd around other dogs since we brought her home back in September of last year. She would growl and bark and be pretty obnoxious. When she was out with my husband's Service Dog Tank she would be fine but still be just a little goofy. Well since we brought Nyx home almost 3 weeks ago she has seemed to mellow out a little around other dogs. She loves him to pieces and wants to play with him all the time. He is 16 months old and is all black save for some silver white on the backs of his legs and between his toes on all four paws and some white on the underside of his tail. He was really REALLY shy when we first got him after we suspect having been abused by his former owner. Gypsy is bringing him out of his shell and teaching him to play while he is teaching her to settle down and walk like a lady as well as being a little less wound up. They spent all day today out in the big 12x24x6 foot kennel run playing and hanging out while we did chores outside and got things cleaned up a little after last night's round of storms. Nyx actually was playing a little but kept looking at Gypsy like she had lost her mind when she kept putting her paws in the water tub. Could it be that the two of them are just what the other needed?
