Seeing dog after a few months and how to get in routine?

I recently moved into Arizona from Ohio and my parents are gunna send my Dog when I get settled in. Other then the occasional walk they haven't really been working with her.

So my question is what should I do and what should I not do when o finally see her besides give lots of love haha

I got back home from moving out for a few months and my folks were the same. I went back over her commands she knew and refined and got them to a standard that I was happy with then (am in the process of) teaching her new tricks and loads of walks

Just do normal things, dogs don't perceive time quite the way we do. You may notice a bit of clingy behavior for a while.
