Default Barking

Hiya all.

I have a two year old female and a nearly 4 year old male.

My male only barked at things. Reactive barking- to guests arriving, children running, those normal things on the other side of the fence and he could not interact with them or was telling me all about them.

My female is a Talker. She barks while running, she barks to tell me what ever she has done, or she thinks my male has done, or she thinks I just need to know.

She has taught my male that during play time you must bark.

How do I correct this vocalization?

Technically she is not doing anything wrong, she is just loud.

So how do I make her understand that it's ok to play, it's ok to greet me and show me how excited she is, but we don't need to hear it aloud?
