That's a hard question for me to answer, because I like to read and I also like to collect books, lol! So I can't even tell you how many books I have that pertain to dogs - breed specific, science, stories, training, etc...it would be a long list! Picking my favorites would be impossible, and ever-changing. I think the act of reading in of itself helps our relationship, since this is our relaxing quiet time that we spend together. Right now I'm reading Pukka's Promise by Ted Kerasote and I'm enjoying it.
