10 month old- terrible two's or what?
Jumping on counters and stealing things again. (She did this when i got her, but i got her to stop with just being consistent, she has just recently started doing this again?)
When she is in play mode, she doesn't want to listen to me, unless i have a treat in my hand. (Such as when she plays chase me, or she steals something from recycling and runs around the house with it, she use to not listen only once in a while, now she rarely listens when she is in play mode)
She is especially barky, whiny, mouthy lately too. Miss attitude is at her max! IN general she has a very spicy personality, she is very talkative, but it has been more. Like for example when she is waiting for dinner she will bark and bark and whine ( i ignore her and wait till she is quiet and than ask her to sit and than down, wait.- when i am getting her supplements, or when she wants to go out of a room.
When she is frustrated she barks and bites the air next to me, its not aggression, but i still think its a rude thing to do?
For the most part when she does mouthy play, she has good bite inhibition, some people said to not ever let your dogs mouth you and others said to let them because its good to practice their bite inhibition- which i agreed with and thought it was a logical idea, as long as she stops when i tell her to. Maybe i should stop all together?
I've had experience with dogs, but i am a first time dog owner:blush:, and i'm not sure if she is going through some terrible two like stage or if i'm changing? My routine with her and everything is still the same for the most part. But maybe i am being more relaxed with her.
She is still a puppy. Continue the training and be sure to keep it consistant. Your not out of the puppy woods yet.
