11 yo GSD eating and licking grass

Hi, I have an 11yo male who has recently started eating dirt and licking concrete around our house. He is well fed, on a vitamin tablet and is around 115lbs which is normal for him. Anyone have this experience and if so what was diagnosed.

I wonder if it could be some kind of mineral or vitamin difficiency. I suggest you have your vet check him over.
