Default Obsessed with dairy products

I was reading through the thread "Things you didn't know about GSD's and after sharing a lot of them with my SO he wants to know if other Shep's are as obsessed with dairy products like ours is. She is almost three years old and any time we get a glass of milk or an iced coffee she is right there, focused on the glass to the point of tracking the glass from the table to your mouth and back again for every drink. She lays in front of his chair while he is drinking it and will not become sidetracked, event for treats or balls. She has had my cereal milk about 3 times in her whole life.(about a 1/4 of a cup of whole milk each time) Dad doesn't share his milk so I have to wonder has she become so focused from just the few times I have given it to her or should I figure a way out to use it is a training treat.(J/K) My golden used to get my cereal milk every morning and she had no digestive issues, but by lab mix can only have a couple of tablespoons or she 'urps it back up.

So I guess my question is this a normal GSD thing or just my "special "girl
She also has the W gene as Selzer has observed that all shep's have.

My Sting loves yogurt and cheese, but has not shown any interest in cream or half & half.

Grim's had an obsession with colbyjack cheese since he was weaned. Why that is I have no clue. All I have to do is take it out of the fridge, and his eyes are burning a hole through my head.

Joey loves plain nonfat yogurt, especially when I mix it with sliced apples.

I also make homemade Frosty Paws with the yogurt, banana, honey and peanut butter.

Fleury loves all dairy products, but they don't all love him back! He gets horrible (smelling) gas after yogurt, but loves cheese (and luckily it doesn't seem to give him the belly issues). Last night I made alfredo sauce and the combo of butter, cream and cheese was too much for him to resist - he snuck into the kitchen to lick the plate we left on the counter - guess he figures waste not want not.

Fiona loves ice cream and frozen yogurt. She gets to lick the lid. I have see no negatives. The pure joy in her eyes when she licked some ice cream yesterday would be worth every stinky fart.

Buck loves milk, I hold the bowl while he laps from it, and he is such a baby when he does it that it's adorable. He knows what the milk carton is and when I bring it out he also burns a hole in it with his eyes, intensely tracking its every move. I figure he likes milk because that's what he got as a baby.

I can't say the word "cheese" out loud at my house any longer, or they all go nuts running to the fridge. In fact, I was thinking I could make my life a whole lot easier if I would only change my recall command from "Come" to "Cheese," haha!
