Default lots of whining

Hey all,

First time poster, long time German shepherd person. I have a male German shepherd who is almost 9 years old. Lately he has started whining a lot for seemingly no reason. We will be just watch tv and he'll start whining, or reading a book and out of no where he'll start whining. I have searched around a bit but only found info on new dogs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome!!

I'm no expert, but is it possible that he is having pain? Has he had a vet check recently?

he doesn't like the tv show he's watching and he
doesn't like the book he's reading to you.

It could be medical. You might want to have him checked to make sure nothing is going on internally.
