Chewing Habbit
 

I have a 6 Month old GSD puppy and I been crate training him since i got him, but last week I stopped using the crate and been letting him sleep and loose in my room when i am not home.

About 3 days ago i started to notice that he has been chewing on the edges of the furniture in my room and now has successfully chewed every piece of furniture in my room and a set of bed sheets. How can i counteract this behavior and prevent any further damage to items in my room?

get the crate back out...he's clearly not ready to be loose.

Crate him when you're not there to supervise. I let Spirit stay loose at night when I'm sleeping but he's sleeping too and hasn't gotten into any trouble. He wakes me as soon as he wakes up. I wouldn't dare leave him loose in the house during the day when I'm not home. LOL, I'm beginning to wonder if I ever will :p
