Do you have this? Coffee spew moment of the morning

Today is (relatively) cold in Florida.

We have a brisk 40 degrees, which brings out the German in my boy and when I took him out to pee, he immediately got the zoomies.

I was feeling bad about having to bring him inside right away, but I had to make breakfast, so I thought he might enjoy some fresh air time playing on the lanai with his ball.

I fixed myself a cup of coffee and when I turned around, this is what I saw:

Poor guy! Just look at that face and those eyes and, oh, the eyebrows!

I had to laugh, even though I felt so sorry for him. He is unable to enjoy himself if I am not out there with him.
Does yours even do alone time, or does it have to be with his human all the time?

My boy will do alone time outside. Especially when its cold or snowy. But that's about the only time he is okay alone.

Oh, I know that look well. Gunner will not play out in the yard by himself.
If I'm just sitting there, it's good enough, he'll play.
But if I'm not out there, he stands and looks in the window or door.

It is a very rare thing for me to find Aiden outside by himself doing anything. But with all the snow we just got, he is much happier out there throwing snowballs for himself.

Glory will stay out alone for hours. Bretta will do her business and then be at that door and want IN!!!

We don't have snow but Raina always comes to the door and watches for me if I don't sit outside when she is out. She can be chewing on a chewy and I'll think I will just dash inside for a minute to get a drink and when I turn around there she is at the door obviously thinking I'm either eating something really tasty that she is being left out from or I've been kidnapped by aliens - not sure which.

Ky loves to stay outside by herself. She can see me, so I think it's because she knows I'm right there.

With all the snow we've had lately, she doesn't even have to see me, she's too busy running around the yard!

Stella will hang out by herself for a little while if she is in the mood. But then she usually will do 1 of 2 things.....scratch and jump on the door to let me know I should come out too.....or bark and everything and anything. If she is scratching at the door and I ask if she wants to come in, she just gives me that "Come out and play" face.

I don't have a house yet, but on nice days I tie the dogs outside and we relax. If I have to run in for a minute, they are at the window watching me. So my best guess is that all three of mine will not stay in a yard once I have a yard without me.
