Here's a pic of one of my old rescues from a few years ago. She was the only one who did this. Looking at the picture you would think that she was being aggressive,but you really have to look at the whole body language of the dog to determine.

The dog will usually have a relaxed body with ears back,sometimes they will avert the eye contact and lip their lips. Lucy displayed all of these.

Awww he is super cute lol. Our girl will only do it when she's meeting another dog and she's scared of them. I did initially think it was a grumpy growling face but you guys have set me straight! This place is awesome!
