Here's a pic of one of my old rescues from a few years ago. She was the only one who did this. Looking at the picture you would think that she was being aggressive,but you really have to look at the whole body language of the dog to determine.

The dog will usually have a relaxed body with ears back,sometimes they will avert the eye contact and lip their lips. Lucy displayed all of these.
