My 11 month old german shepherd bites when she gets excited. She didn't really bite much when she was younger but recently she'll bite when we get home or when people come over. I really want to correct this problem but I don't know the best way to stop a dog her age from biting in excitement. Do you have any advice?

Think she's at the perfect age to up her exercise to bleed off her excess energy. Plus continue the dog classes. Does she behave the same at class? What is your instructor recommending?

She actually doesn't take classes as she's never really had many problems. We have a trainer that comes over when we want help with her behavior who is having us do some simple puppy bite inhibition. This worked on my lab mix but he was younger when we tried it so I thought I'd see if any other german shepherd owners had dealt with anything similar. Thanks for the reply!
