Adult male GSD and small puppies?

BTW, I also happen to think that GSD's should have the same tolerance for little humans as well.

Could be I have too high expectations here as well, but all 9 or so GSD's that we have had in the last 40 years HAVE been like this with babies of both species!

My boys were good with puppies. I was really careful though. My dams were awesome with their pups, currently I have Jenna with an 8 month old bitch pup. But, some of the other girls are not crazy about puppies. Milla who is easy going, good with dogs and people, is not necessarily good with puppies.

As for babies, I had a couple at my house yesterday and I carefully introduced them to Jenna, Hepzibah, and Babs, and they all knew these were babies and were careful, even the 8 month old. But, I was more careful. My dogs are not raised with babies or children and some things you just cannot take back. So, I made sure my hand was right there with the baby's hand. Gwen is fearless, and she was quite ready to go right up and pet. Andrea, who is almost a year older was a little more hesitant.

I can honestly say that Kane is good with dogs as well with children of all ages. I have video of him playing with my kids and with other kids as well at the school playground. He even went down the slide with the kids !!! With other dogs he is awesome. My inlaws 50th wedding anniversary there were dogs from pekinese to huskies and he got along great with each one (check out my album and you can see). Kane loves the puppies and especially loves the seniors. I have been blessed with an awesome dog.
