Jocoyn I just remembered a dog of mine black Keno who was an active police dog working with Metro Toronto -- over 10 years of service , when the realized how old he was put him into mandatory retirement.
The dog retired to his handlers home -- and started to get depressed . So being the station favourite , the staff sergeant allowed him to be an honorary k9 member , sit in his office , still meet and greet all the familiar handlers . Once in while in some training exercise they would run a car with sirens on with Keno in it where in his beautiful doggy mind "he was at work" "he was still needed and important". The dog lived to 14 years . |

Yes it does seem to be the dry land running. Well playing around with working him more. Beau needs to work more on scattered bones anyway and that is a very exacting and tedious kind of searching. So I guess Grim just needs to work them too. So many hours in the day. Oy.
