Regardless of what method that you use, BE SURE that you praise her EVERY time that you get her and she is close to you. Even if you have to reel her in with the long line, praise and toys and treats to her - EVERY TIME>
Even if it kills you because she wouldn't come when called!!!!!!! BTW - I would also use the COME command outside - just do it in other places in the yard, not just by the door. I.E. call her when you are in the middle of the yard - she comes (however) and you praise her and/or toys and/or treats - then the big reward - let her go and play some more so she doesn't associate Come with "Funs over" This worked VERY well with my sometimes reluctant recall. |

My pup (13 months) started doing this a few months ago too. I started giving him a high value treat everytime he comes inside. Now he comes in but doesn't always want to go out!!!

Thank you for the help everybody. I used the toy technique. Everytime she comes in the door after i say inside we have a good 30 second tug session. She loves it. I should post a video because if I say inside now her ears perk up and she come screaming to the door knowing a tug session is in order. Only took 6 days...smart pup. Thank you everyone again!
