Have any of you guys had a dog that once the winter hit, they seemed depressed?
Sam just seems sad. . He doesn't want to play with his ball or his tire, and he mopes and lays around all day long. He eats fine, poops fine. Every now and then I can get him excited to go on a car ride, but for the most part he is just sad!!
Winter & cold temps charge my dogs up. When it's hot out they don't really play much. As soon as we get that chill in the air watch out, sounds like I have grizzly bears in the yard. It's most noticable with Kiya, she turns into a different dog, plays with the ball & play fights with the other dogs.
You're in "the desert", you say--maybe your dog has acclimated more to a hot climate that the dogs of these other posters?
