I wonder if we need to do some private obedience lessons:
Took Scarlett to do her "interview" at the hospital where I work to see if she could be a Therapy dog. We have our TDI...passed with no issues. BUT, a few issues are apparent after our tour of the facility: Scarlett was HORRIBLE on the leash. It was a non-stop pull fest. My hands hurt from wrapping the leash and I don't think any correction was working. (BUT, she did great in the elevator, was not bothered by any equipment, wheelchairs, gurnies, etc.) THEN, she gave that big WOOF WOOF WOOF to several people...That is a BIG NO NO!! She must have done it to 10 different people. It is as if she senses who is a little bit nervous around her and she let's them have it. I was mortified. I know it was a new situation and all, but her behaviour was not acceptable. I have A LOT of work to do with her, that is obvious. Where do I start??? I need a game plan...

If she does not normally pull her leash when on a walk it may have just been the excitement, i don't know anything to suggest. Hope that someone more knowledgeable will come on here and give you some suggestions.
