Grim
Czech-Certfied Cadaver dog 8+
Very nice temperament high drives - great hunt, good prey
Not so great formal obedience but excellent bonding and work ethic.
Good nerves with one flaw - slick floors - but he will work on them.
Old picture. He was 2 there. More muscled as full grown adult
Grim van der Woude - German Shepherd Dog

Beau
Czech x West German - Cadaver dog prospect 5mos
So far so good. Excellent ball and hunt drive. Bombproof nerves - moreso than Grim
Seems like he good do excellent obeidence as well. Very focused. Very intense and fun. SO far quite social (but he is 5 months old too)
Incomplete info listed on parents. Both OFA certified-father Good Hips, no elbow x-rays, mother-OFA Good Hips, Normal elbows. Grandfather is working patrol dog.

Cyra (closer to 9 than 8)
West German
Somewhat dog agressive but controllable. Excellent prey drive not as good hunt as Grim and Beau
Pet dog due to Severe HD but she does not know it. She was washed as a SAR dog due to her hips. She was close to certifying when I washed her out. Never changed the picture but the discussion explains.

I highly doubt that there is only one other member (besides myself) that has a working line GSD.

Czech lines

3 year old female

She has solid nerves. Can handle literally everything you throw at her. Had a poor start with a crappy lot in life so she doesn't know her power yet, but in the year I've had her she has learned quite a bit about herself and is becoming less and less restrained about using it. She is becoming pushy, knows what she wants and will go until she can't breathe to get it.
She is very high prey drive, very high fight drive, and a high threshold but when brought out has a lot of seriousness to her. Energy level is average to high. She has a very very nice off and on switch. She can go from very active full out runs, to curling up at your feet begging for pets or napping.

Debating between selling her (space issues), or keeping her. If kept she will be titled.

_______________________________

Czech & West German

13 wks female

So far, bullet proof.. Literally. She hears gunfire regularly from within 10ft even, doesn't even blink. Is extremely driven and motivated. High food drive, high prey, high pack drive, very good hunting skills, dominant, pushy. Can be very sweet and affectionate. Very attention seeking and hard working. Will run up to you full speed and do anything to seek your attention. Runs through all the obedience she knows to try and grab your attention. Works for both food and handler approval. A simple "yes!" keeps her motivated.
She is currently high energy. Nothing is ever enough for her.
Very serious little girl with a lot of intensity. Try to kick the kennel to get her to shut up, she tries to bite your foot. Start slapping her around with your bare hands, prepare to be bitten. She never stops. A lot of fight drive to her. Full grips and she never lets go. *evil grin*

Keeping back to title, potentially sell as a green dog, or title and keep for potential breeding.

Maris, are you a breeder?

I had no idea you had those 2 females?

That little black baby is too adorable!

Technically I didn't do the breeding, I simply purchased the female pregnant and whelped the litter.

I had been training this female for about a year as a trade for a helper of a SchH club to work my dogs. I ended up buying her I liked her a lot. My boyfriend wanted her to title himself to use as a learning dog. But due to some unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, when I "paid" for her, the money never went to the actual "owner" of the dog. The helper already had the paperwork signed over by the owner and the helper did not own her.

The helper did the breeding to his really nice West German SchH3 male. The now previous owner of the dog is still owed money. I'm debating if I want to pay for her twice now since the helper who took my money has vanished, or if I want to sell her for the amount she is worth to transfer to the owner.

Its a confusing situation. But to answer your question, if whelping the litter is considered a breeder, then I guess I am now? LOL. I do intend to start a kennel, I am currently gathering dogs I like as foundation dogs and titling them.
