We've had our rescue male GSD for four months. He's progressed very well with the trainer at our home for the last 8 weeks. His only issue was severe reaction to other dogs. We've about got that handled...except the noise! When Markus sees another dog while we are on our walks he no longer pulls on the lead or jumps or barks. Now he "sits" or "downs" on command...and whines! He has this loud, trilling type of whine that can be heard for quite a distance. He'll sit there on a loose lead relatively calm and whines like we're skinning him alive!
So...suggestions on stopping the whining? Thanks. |

My mom has a gsd that makes a lot of noise too and she bought a can of compressed air and sprays it- not at the dog but way over her head and the noise startles her enough to get her attention and interrupt her crying. Now all my mom has to do is pick up the can and she stops
