I'm curious to know if this is normal and why he does it. When it's time to go number two, he will go in one spot. Move a couple of feet away and go in another spot. This can to place up to 4-5 times. So I'm in the yard with a couple of different doggie bags trying to follow his trail. Why in the world does he do this instead of going in one spot? He is 4 1/2 months old.

Normal. Mine urinates in the same fashion. It was always three times, now always two times. Defecating is sometimes one evacuation or two or three. Appears to be normal.
