Does anyone elses GS bump them? Let me give an example of what I mean. I'm in the sitting room on the computer, Kane will come walking in and as he is walking by me he will give me a gentle bump with his muzzle. To me its like he's saying "hey, whats doin" and continue to his bed and lay down. He doesn't stop while he's doing it, he continues walking. Also, its not just me that he does it to. My husband, my parents when they come to visit, but doesn't do it to my children. He does it all the time. Sitting in the kitchen, living room, etc. And its funny cause he doesn't stop to be petted or loved on, he just does it in passing.

Yes, and it does remind me of what a horse does "a nuzzle".

My Malinois "bumps" me gently when we are out walking off-leash or when I am walking around the house (like going to the kitchen or going to the bathroom and she's following me). She usually bumps my hand. Kind of like saying, "Hey, I'm behind you. Just checking in."

Shelby especially does this. I think its her way of letting me know she's still there but lately Shasta (4 months old) has started doing it too. I've honestly never seen a puppy so intent on keeping an eye on someone as she does with me and the kids. Its her way of tucking the kids in to bed at night too. once we're all done tucking them in, she'll bump them like she's saying she loves them, dont fall outta bed tonight and i'll see ya in the morning. i think its their way of checking in and letting us know they're thinking about us.

DJ will come in the room when I'm on the computer, sit and stare at me for a bit then ease his head into my lap for a pat. I guess it's just his way of sayin " Hey dad, need some attention here "
