But, come to think of it, COME is the one command that I tend to reward with a treat moreso than any other, and still do when they come in from the yard quickly. I am so sorry that I didn't get a chance to read all of the responses, I only have another second to be on the computer. I just wanted to say that Buddy is doing the same thing. I just go out in the yard, call him to me, praise him up and down for coming, then plop a leash on him and guide him inside. He doesn't protest at all, comes in happily with me.
Now, he comes perfectly for my husband, nice, huh? lol!!! Yep, Bud's a work in progress!!! (So am I!!) Good luck!!! |
