I think he was after the ball

They handled it so poorly, though, crowding around the poor dog. That is why he went belly up. Who is the guy rough handling and dragging him at 0:29 to 0:38? Not the owner, so lucky he didn't get bitten.
What a good tempered boy, to allow himself to be carried off like that.
