Default Christmas comes early for Liesl

She couldn't stand the suspense of the unopened packages. Fortunately no actual gifts were harmed in the making of this photo. And even more fortunately my wife's patience kicked in and she didn't fuss at me (too much) for leaving Liesl unattended downstairs.

Oh this is one of those times when you aren't sure if you should laugh or cry, and cute goes a long way in saving the dog's butt.

Agreed!
Although, I do like the fact that YOU didn't get into too much trouble leaving Liesl out unattended......

We have those conversations at our house sometimes....

LOL Liesl naughty naughty!
Cute but I'm glad nothing was damaged. I wish he was around when I was a kid. I would let him tear up the presents my Grandma made me..... Not cool when your 15 years old and you get a Bedazzled Bear Sweater that was neon pink and homemade. Sounds braty but trust me it was bad.... There also many other similar gifts in between those years. Never will I forget that sweater.

I've come home to a *few* opened presents this year, but nothing like that. Just the corner nibbled off a package of peppermint bark (which she decided she did NOT like...thankfully). She likes to stick her head in gift bags, which then get stuck and in the process of extracting her head, the contents spill out. I've caught her in the act twice now.

I agree, cute goes a long way to letting the "incident" go unpunished...LOL

W O W. I feel like we should solicit donations to start a therapy fund for you.

She was placed outside for her morning break and squirrel chasing frenzy. Kids walked her and took her to the park for some ball, and she spent the afternoon napping inside. Watched the football game with the guys upstairs last night. All in all, she got off easy.
