I just got a message from the volunteer at GSRNC. Unfortunately, they weren't able to find room for Gretchen due to so many people "dumping" their dogs right before the holidays.
It's so sad that people will just "dump" a family pet because it's an inconvenience to have them during the holidays. Talk about completely being clueless about the true meaning of Christmas  Rest in peace, sweet Gretchen.

According to the lady I spoke with at the Shelter she said Gretchen went to Trails of Happy Tails (ID # a049234). Phone number:

That's fantastic news!!!! I'm sorry didn't give the correct info. I guess my motto from now on will be "never assume anything"!
