This is the response I got back from the adoption coordinator.... "She goes after other dogs, she's barrier aggressive as well, it could just be the shelter environment. She is NOT scared. Shes great w/ people, loves people, she's energetic and sweet w/ people but she just barks and goes after other animals."
It sounds like she would be a great only dog. Most fosters have other dogs, so finding a rescue for her could be problematic - unless the foster has a way to isolate her. Maybe she would not be that bad out of the shelter environment?
This rescue does adopt out of state. If someone on their transport route wanted to adopt, the shelter would put her on the transport. The link to transport is in my third post. I imagine an adopter could arrange transport in another direction as well.
